In the morning of February 4th, under the organization of Zhang Qiming, the president of the 1989 classmates' association of the Medical School, 800 boxes of instant food with a value of 300,000 yuan were delivered to the Ministry of Medicine. This is donated by medical alumni to the frontline medical staff of Renmin Hospital, Zhongnan Hospital, and school clinics.

It is understood that at the moment of the epidemic, the 1989 classmates' association of the Medical School is actively taking actions to gather alumni at home and abroad to purchase a batch of medical supplies, including 6264 boxes of medical masks and 522 cases of protective clothing. The value of goods and international shipping cost more than RMB 870,000. The donation is shipped from the United States to Changsha, Hunan, and then to Wuhan by postal courier, and was donated to Renminl, Zhongnan Hospital, Xiehe Hospital, Tongji Hospital and other hospitals in and outside the city by the Hubei Charity Federation. At the same time, the alumni donated 2,000 N95 masks, 20 sets of UV lamps, 28 boxes of disinfectant, 1,500 disposable underwear, and 5000 pieces of gowns to hospitals in Yichang, Huanggang, Xiaogan, Ezhou, Lichuan and other hospitals in Hubei Province. The enthusiastic dedication and hard work are solid powers to support the prevention and control of the epidemic, demonstrating the responsibility and deeds of Wuhan University alumni.

At the same time, the Medical School also received information of concern and spoort from international partners such as the University of Chicago, Lorraine University of France, and McGill University of Canada. After learning about the supply shortage situation of Zhongnan Hospital, Fukushima Medical University in Japan has decided to donate 20 boxes of medical masks and protective clothing to Zhongnan Hospital on February 3.
